  • Watermelon as a Viagra Substitute?

There’s general agreement that natural remedies are part of making a more healthy America but will that make America ready to give up Viagra?

I heard on the Food Channel that scientists from Texas A&M’s Fruit and Vegetable Improvement Center say that the watermelon has ingredients that deliver Viagra-like effects to the body’s blood vessels and may even increase libido.

Phyto-nutrients are just part of what scientists are keeping their eyes on these days, things like lycopene, beta carotene and citrulline. Watermelon’s healthy compounds may also help the immune system, the heart, and the prostate.

Who knew? Maybe the Japanese. Look at this heart shaped watermelon in Fukuoka.

  • Viagra pills with the myriad of benefits to the sexual life, emotional and physical satisfaction, and improve personal relationships, often the drug can cause some side effects. Although the benefits due to its extreme, these side effects are but a drop in the ocean, yet it is unwise to ignore them. Perhaps a better proposal would be to visit a doctor as soon as someone points out any of the following side effects after use of Viagra pills.
