And I’m guessing the president has his own private desk somewhere else in that big house and that it’s probably not as clear.
Quite true. Believing that there is only one right place for each thing makes it very difficult to form anything new.

I’d imagine that if Bill, Nat, or Albert had been conducting televised announcements from his office, he might have tidied up a bit, too. Of course, they also didn’t have the household staffs that Barack has!
